I am extremely pleased to bring you the good news that the 45Mbps DS3 link to the TEIN3 hub in Mumbai is now operational.

This is a major milestone in the history of LEARN, as this is the first time we are getting connected to the Academic Internet. This establishes a "private" connection to hundreds of networks like LEARN in other countries. Let us hope that our academic / research community would make the maximum use of this facility.
